On paper I look old, but I love teaching, and kids usually like me. I taught English at Greensboro Day School from 1979-2012. I’ve taught both middle and upper school English as well as the verbal section of the SAT and the ACT. I worked as a college counselor, helping students choose colleges and write their essays. I miss teaching.

Availability: Weekdays-3:00–9:00

I have a BA from Duke and a MEd from UNCG
While at GDS I had at least 12 personal advisees each year.
I received several awards for my work with students who had some learning differences.
