Master`s in Biology, broad scientific knowledge. I focus on leading my students to see the answer to the question themselves by asking guiding questions. Much of the work is in Math, as if students lose a little ground in the subject, it`s very easy to find themselves far behind. I try to rebuild the base of knowledge and catch the student up to the current curriculum.

Availability: Mornings, Friday afternoon, Sunday morning and early afternoon

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I`ve been tutoring full time for two years, mostly in Math, Science, and ACT/SAT test prep. I have worked both in-home and center-based tutoring. My test prep students have all seen a boost in their scores (some more than others). When you do the gig full-time, you gather much more expertise than people who just do it `on the side` or for a few hours a week.
