I teach Advanced (honors) Chemistry, AP Chemistry and Organic Chemistry (a new course I designed) at a boarding school in Windsor. I enjoy teaching and helping students achieve greater academic success. As a teacher, I challenge my students and make sure that they are all achieving at their highest potential. I expect 100% every day. While there is no off-day in my classroom, I manage to maintain a lighthearted and positive learning environment with a strong sense of purpose and urgency. My teaching style is very engaging; I use lots of mnemonics, analogies, real-life examples and applications in my lessons. I help students see more clearly the relevance of what they are learning in their everyday lives. I also equip students with strategies and ideas that help them master the material better and recall it more effortlessly in hopes of being more successful on assessments. In my very first year of teaching, I taught AP Chem at a public school in Houston, TX, where I was awarded the Science Teacher of the Year Award. I`m an alumnus of Middlebury College, VT where I majored in chemistry and minored in Math and German__I lived in Berlin, Germany for almost a year! I earned my master`s degree in chemistry from the University of St. Joseph, CT.

I specialize in tutoring chemistry (regular, honors, AP, SAT, IB, Olympiads, Science Fairs, General Chemistry/College Intro to Chem, Organic Chem), math (Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, SAT, ACT, Differential Equations), and German.

Availability: I`m available most weekdays from 5-9pm and weekends from 3-7pm.

Experience: I have been teaching all levels of chemistry for nine years now. I have been tutoring chemistry and math since my high school days, for about 18 years now.
