I have an all-level Music Education degree, and nearly a minor in English. I have also taken a few Graduate classes in Creative Writing. I`ve always been a grammar nut and I love to write. I taught public school for 3 years, then for the next 36 years I homeschooled my kids. I raised both biological and adopted kids, thirteen of them! My husband was a doctor until very recently. I have lived in many places, but I have lived in Texas more than any other places. I am creative and love to teach. I am a grandmother with lots of love to give.

Experience: I taught public elementary school for 3 years and did a short stent in private school. I have taught piano lessons for years and untold homeschool co-op classes. I have taught English for at least three of those years. Also, I have taught everything from Russian Literature to Entomology! I have taught all subjects at all different levels for close to 40 years! I am very familiar with the Excellence in Writing curriculum. I am writing a book or two; two started. I have been a writer for most of my life. My strength is my willingness to think outside the box and try different methods with different students. We are all different and need different ways to learn!
