I graduated with Bachelor`s and Master`s degrees in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and a PhD in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. I am passionate about teaching and have been doing so for the past 40 plus years. I have a very strong desire to continue teaching at any level. Actively participating and interacting with students is the best part of my job. It keeps me alive!
