This letter is to express my interest in the Mathematics teacher position.

I taught Algebra I at Marion P. Thomas Charter High School, in Newark, NJ during the school year 2017 – 2018.
I taught Algebra II and Geometry at the Abraham Clark High School in Roselle, NJ, during the school year 2015- 2016 and during the school year 2016 - 2017.
I taught Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry Honors at the Infinity Institute (High School) in Jersey City, NJ, during the school year 2011-2012.
I taught Geometry, Discrete Mathematics and SAT at Teaneck High School as a substitute teacher during the school year 2013-2014.

In May 2010, I completed training at Montclair State University in its Traders to Teachers program, a unique, intensive math teacher preparation program that was created in 2009 through the collaborative efforts of NJ Departments of Education and Labor. I have a certificate of Eligibility to teach P-12 mathematics with Highly Qualified status.
The program is extremely competitive, and I was selected based on my proficiency in math as well as my leadership, team orientation and potential for a successful teaching career.
I am a former Programmer Analyst with more than 10 years’ experience and I believe that my strong technical experience and education will contribute to my success teaching in a NJ High School or Middle School. I am excited to transfer real applications with an experienced point of view into my classroom.
Due to my experience in business and industry for the last more than 10 years as a programmer analyst, I have a unique view point on what skills and talents are needed by students today in order to prepare them for a successful professional career.
