I`m a senior at the Metropolitan State University of Denver. Currently, obtaining my bachelor’s in English. During the summer, I take classes at the University of Pennsylvania for a certificate in creative writing, and hold honors at both MSU Denver and UPenn, with a 3.73 and 4.0 GPA respectively. I have a deep passion for tutoring students in English, especially the writing aspect.

Experience: I volunteer at Learn To Be, creating lessons plans for students based on their interests and what would be most effective for them to learn. My passion for tutoring spans into various subjects of English and creative writing. I’ve worked with young kids to teenagers with developing the skills necessary to succeed not only in classes, but advance in the world of language. As a member of the National Tutoring Association, I have a strong grasp of the foundational elements to tutor. Consistently, I’ve maintained an engaging environment that allows students to learn during the time we have in our sessions. I’ve applied for my basic tutoring certificate and will be submitting for an intermediate and writing certificate as well.
