Alison

I am a born and raised American living in the United States. After high school I earned a bachelors degree in elementary and middle school education. My goal has always been to follow in the footsteps of my grandmother who was a teacher. From there, I earned my masters and later a degree in educational leadership. These benchmarks formed as a result of an increased passion for learning and improving the educational climate for children. Today, I enjoy working as an administrative associate for an independent school. When I am not working, I enjoy music, reading, and new opportunities to support young learners.

Experience: I have served as the elementary school teacher and grades K-4. I also have experience working with fifth and sixth graders, specifically focusing on English language arts. I have been facilitating learning experiences for children and adults for over 10 years. Most recently, I have been an administrative associate for an independent school. I work not only in classroom with teachers and students, but with families and the greater school community.
