Hi! I graduated with honors last year with a bachelor`s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. Currently, I am in my gap year before starting medical school.

Experience: In college, I began as a teaching assistant for chemistry for a class of ten students. I led workshops helping students with problem solving, test preparation and reviewing concepts as instructed by the professors. The following year, I became a peer tutor for chemistry where I learned techniques to tutor individuals and smaller groups of students. Additionally, my volunteer position at WestBay as an after school program volunteer taught me patience, perseverance and creativity necessary in tutoring younger students. These tutoring experiences have exposed me to students with different learning styles and how to accommodate them to maximize their understanding as well as have had to opportunity to tutor students of varying ages.
