I am a recently retired elementary school teacher. I’ve been married to my wonderful partner for 36 years. We had an amazingly kind, smart, and beautiful daughter, who passed from a very rare cancer at the age of 32. She left us a bright, funny, handsome grandson to love for her. He’s 7 and full of energy!

I’m looking to fill a need to teach “littles” to read, write, and to love math.♥️

Experience: I have 25 years of elementary teaching experience, and 16 years as the Assistant to the Principal, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, CTA K-12 and college teaching credential with additional bilingual education, and a CTA Preliminary Administrative Credential.

At the district level, I wrote all of the Math curriculum for first grade, as well as assisted another group of teachers with the reading curriculum. I trained all of the first grade teachers in our district in the California Common Core State Standards in math and the curriculum that I wrote for it. I was a learning leader at my school and the Student Success Team (SST) Coordinator.
