Hello! My name is Ruth, and I am a hard-working, organized, and approachable individual. I can effectively communicate with my supervisors and collaborators (with questions, time constraints, etc.,). I am organized and will ensure that I plan lessons that will aid the student’s understanding and improving in the study area. I am a rising sophomore at NCSU, and I am a biochemistry with a 4.0 GPA. I have taken AP chemistry in high school, and both general chemistry 1 and 2 in college, and I have ended with As in each of these courses.

Experience: I have tutoring experience from being in the Two Steps Tutoring Club during high school, I graduated from Raleigh Charter High School. I tutored children from Title I elementary schools in all subjects. I planned out lesson plans and took from each lesson to edit and reassess future lessons. I made sure to effectively communicate with the students and parents to ensure that we were on the right track. I have taken AP chemistry in high school, and both general chemistry 1 and 2 in college, and I have ended with As in each of these courses. Throughout high school and college, I have understood my classes and the content well enough to explain it to others and work well in group situations to ensure that we all understood the material.
