Currently employed as a supplemental Math instructor for LA Galaxy Academy, my experiences over these past five years focus on instructing and tutoring Math courses, which range from Pre-Algebra to Calculus, one-on-one and in groups using various strategies of instruction and assessment.

Availability: Wednesdays: 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: 9:00am - 9:00pm

For the past five years of tutoring K-12 students from Pre-Algebra to Calculus, I`ve witnessed tremendous growth in my students` characters and academic performance. At first, it was somewhat difficult to work with my students because they weren`t used to having me, a new tutor or instructor, in place of their previous ones, which was a big reason as to why the students barely paid attention and were in a demotivated, nonengaged, shy, and/or timid state of mind. However, as I’ve pushed through all difficulties, my students went from being in such state of mind to constantly wanting to showcase their work and accomplishments, to explain to me in their own words at their own best the work they`d independently done when receiving my help/instructions, to get excited every time they independently (and with my help in some cases) spotted AND fixed their mistakes, and to help/tutor their classmates at my or their own requests. Such drastic improvements in my students I’ve regularly witnessed serve as a drive for me to push and continue pushing my new and current students.
