I am a retired educator having worked in the community college system for over 20 years. I also teach psychology classes at the community college level. I have a masters degree in counseling and have certifications in life coaching, resilience and positive psychology. My strengths include excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to help others problem solve and develop critical skills needed for academic and life success

Experience: Having retired from the community college system in Massachusetts, I currently tutor for Holyoke Community College. I specifically work with students who are first generation college students and/or who have learning challenges particularly ADHD. I also use my background in coaching and academic success coaching to help students establish academic priorities, set goals based on those priorities, and develop the academic and personal skills to achieve those goals. Writing across the curriculum is my area of expertise.
