Connie

I am a retired teacher with 33 years of experience. I have a life-long, North Carolina teaching license. I am certified to teach grades Pre-K-6. I have a Masters of Science in Education, and I am also a National Board Certified Teacher. I have tutored for a school district and privately for multiple grade levels. I currently substitute teach in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools including special education classes.

Experience: I have experience teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all areas of the curriculum. Years of teaching gave me experience in using various programs and methods, and my students showed high growth. While teaching I tutored children after school and during summer. After retirement, I have continued to tutor various ages and grade levels. I also have experience substituting across grade levels.
