I graduated from Eastern Michigan University as a Master of Science - Biology, and a Bachelor of Science - Biology and Chemistry.

My passion is embedded in the education and research of the sciences. I have a hunger for learning new skills, delving into research, and especially teaching others. I find fulfillment in problem solving, strategizing for efficiency, and communicating with people.

My professional career consists of working within formal and informal education settings. I have a love for teaching, and I share my appreciation of learning through a diversity of methods. My idea of success in life is to educate the next generation of scientists, and to research new findings that serve to be beneficial in our community.
