Information about Evelynn
English has always come naturally to me â from AP and honors classes in high school to earning A+ grades in every college English course. Writing essays, analyzing readings, and making real-life connections are things I truly enjoy, and I love helping others discover how rewarding English can be. I donât just teach grammar or structure â I teach students how to think like writers, how to express themselves clearly, and how to connect their ideas to the real world. Whether itâs breaking down a difficult reading, improving essay flow, or finding your writing voice, I can explain things in a way that actually makes sense. My lessons are patient, creative, and built around what each student needs most. I make English feel relevant and even fun by tying it to things you care about â from music to psychology to everyday life. If you want to learn, grow, and actually enjoy English, Iâve got you covered.
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: As a tutor, I take my role and my studentsâ growth seriously. I always show up prepared, organized, and ready to meet each student where they are. My goal is to create a supportive environment where learning feels natural â not pressured. I value communication, consistency, and patience, and I tailor each lesson to fit the studentâs individual goals and learning style. With a strong academic background and years of success in advanced English classes, I know how to guide students toward improvement they can see in their writing and grades. I want every student I work with to feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress. When you learn with me, you can count on reliability, respect, and real results. Iâve been helping peers with English-related work for a little over a year now, both formally and informally. After that, I spent several semesters helping classmates with writing assignments, discussion posts, and essay revisions â especially in philosophy and psychology courses that require strong analytical writing skills.
