I have always enjoyed teaching and interacting with students since I was a graduate student at UC-Davis while receiving my doctoral degree in Microbiology. Upon graduation, I joined Merck & Co., as a Post-doc and used Molecular Biology & Genetic Engineering tools to study the gene regulation of the human Tumor Necrosis Factor. After 3.5 yrs (with 6 mon. maternity leave), I joined Johnson & Johnson as a molecular immunologist while teaching Biology, Microbiology Incl. Immunology at night as an adjunct professor in Middlesex County College, Edison, New Jersey. I received great evaluation from students and the Biology Department Chair who informed me that several students had inquired about my teaching schedule so they could sign up my session. Currently, I help high school students to realize their college dream and also tutor AP Biology and AP Environmental Science when applicable.

- Drug Discovery Scientist as a microbiologist and molecular immunologist at Merck & Co. and Johnson & Johnson respectively
