My name is Hamzah . I am completing my education at The University Of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics.In general, I love tutoring because it gives me an opportunity to be a mentor and a teacher to students of various ages. Through teaching, I want to help students gain confidence in a myriad of subjects, not just in mathematics. My goal in life is to always have a positive mindset and to always enjoy what I am learning, and that is exactly what I want to pass on to every individual. Tutoring also helps me in terms of mathematics because by helping students, I am further practicing the material, myself. As a tutor, I am able to help make rigorous material easy for the students. My future aspiration is to become a professor or a high school teacher, and through tutoring, I am preparing myself for this sort of career.

Experience: I have two years of experience as a Mathematics Tutor in the following subjects: Calculus, College Algebra, Trigonometry and Differential Equation. I also have one year of experience as a Learning Assistant for courses in Calculus 2 and Calculus 3. All of my sessions have been held in quiet learning spaces, including libraries or classrooms. In addition, I provide a lesson plan of what will be taught in a particular lesson.
