I am a math major in secondary education at Western Governors University. I am currently obtaining my teaching certificate. I am from Cheshire CT, originally from Meriden CT. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, being healthy, and spending time with loved ones. I also enjoy reading and studying mathematics. I am a people person and enjoy teaching and helping others learn. I have a passion for math and an affinity for education.

Experience: I worked as a math tutor at Gateway Community College for 4 years while attending college. I tutored elementary algebra classes up to Calculus 2. I also worked at Mathnasium for a summer tutoring kids there from kindergarten to college. I taught basic arithmetic to pre-calculus. I recently worked with Catapult learning high dosage tutoring company. There I worked on tier 2 intervention with students in math. I had my own class area where I applied various teaching methods such as explicit instruction, differentiated instruction, and direct instruction.
