Information about Daniel
I am currently a college student. I am in the final semester of earning my bachelors degree.
I understand that not everyone learns things in the same ways, so teaching a person means that you need to find a way to tell them something that meshes with the way they can understand. I have been through this process growing up, and have proven in helping former classmates (including one who became an RN thanks to my help) that my own struggles have helped my to be more sympathetic and understanding when tutoring them. I`ve learned that a different way of explaining something is sometimes all a person needs to get them back on track. Other times, I have had to backtrack and figure out the root of a faulty understanding that is causing the current problem. As in math, accounting is based on almost everything that you are taught before. Any time I have struggled in either, I went back and looked at the foundations to reexamine them and see where I started going wrong. This is something else I can do for others, too.
Availability: 9-11 pm EST Tuesday and 11 am to 3 pm EST Sunday.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I am currently a student at Purdue University-Fort Wayne, in my final semester of earning my Bachelors in Accounting and my minor in economics. I have helped fellow students in other classes (accounting courses and math courses up to college algebra and trig).
