Nine years living and working in Paris combined with a BA in French from UCSB have provided me with near-native fluency and an ability to teach French to middle and high school students from beginner to intermediate and advanced levels.

Experience: Nine years living and working in Paris combined with a BA in French from UCSB have provided me with near-native spoken French. I have an all-round approach to teaching French, focusing on conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, writing, reading and comprehension. No matter the level, I believe students will do better if they enjoy the subject, can interact with the material and gain confidence in their abilities. I can help students get a better understanding of their work at school and also prepare for AP and SAT subject tests. When not teaching French, I love to coach soccer and have several years experience coaching at the high school girls` varsity level.
