Hello! I have a degree in mechanical engineering and a heart for helping those with math. I prefer working with (upper) middle and high school age students, particularly in Algebra I and II. Aside from my interest in tutoring math, I am open to working with students needing assistance with time management, organization, and study skills.

Availability: Generally available Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30 Central Standard Time and as needed on weekends

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: My work history ranges from assisting 6th graders through adults, both privately and professionally for a tutoring company. Throughout my 10+ years of tutoring, and especially while working as a Calculus Supplemental Instructor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I found a lack of mastery in the fundamentals of math to be the underlying issue with advanced courses. Often times, it is not the new concepts or methods that students fail to comprehend, as much as a need to review and solidify previous material; alongside all of this is the need to feel comfortable with the subject. During my sessions, I truly look forward to building math skills AND confidence with all of my students.
