Jonas

Hi! I`m Jonas, a recent high school graduate going to western Washington university this fall. I have a passion for computer science and game development. I`m also an uber nerd who`s been into videogames and technology for as long as I can remember. This led me to take every Computer Science class offered by my high school at or above the AP Computer Science A level, and to start development on my own Indie Game. I`m hopping to help guide the next generation of computer scientists down the same path I walked, and hopefully help them enjoy it as much as I did.

Experience: I graduated Issaquah high school after taking: AP computer Science A, Advanced Computer Science Topics and Projects, Cybersecurity, and Game Design with Unity and C#, I also was TA for an AP Computer Science Principles class. While taking those classes I earned various certifications, I have a certifications in: Java, Computational Thinking (with a higher exam score than the AP Computer Science Principles Teacher), and Unity. I also got a 4 on the AP Computer Science A exam in 10th grade at the time having only take AP Computer Science A. I`m currently in the process of finishing the development of my Indie game with the Unity game engine. I also have various other projects under my belt from various classes and just for fun including: A system to allow the player to build custom magic spells (not for my indie game, for my game design class), a terrain generation engine for making STL files of simple planets, and a physics simulation in raw Java that used timesteps to approximate the movement of particles under the effects of the gravity of the other particles.
