I hold a Master of Accountancy from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. I hold two bachelor`s degrees, one in Accounting and the other in Public Health. In addition to my educational qualifications, I am a Certified Property Tax Appraiser through the California State Board of Equalization.

Experience: Previously, I taught Fundamental Accounting in Indonesia, where I guided students through the basic principles of accounting, the accounting cycle, journal entries, financial statements, and other essential accounting concepts. This experience strengthened my ability to explain technical material clearly and adapt my teaching to meet students` diverse learning needs.
Currently, I work as an Audit Appraiser with the Los Angeles County Department of Assessor, where I conduct audits of commercial, industrial, and professional businesses to verify the accuracy and completeness of reported business personal property. My responsibilities include analyzing financial records such as trial balances, federal depreciation schedules, and fixed asset listings to ensure compliance with California property tax laws. I also perform on-site audits, determine assessable values, and prepare assessment adjustments when discrepancies are identified.
In addition, I prepare documentation for assessment appeals and serve as an expert witness during Assessment Appeals Board hearings. A significant part of my role involves communicating with taxpayers and their representatives to explain assessment laws, policies, and procedures, answer questions, and resolve complex assessment issues. This experience has strengthened my analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while reinforcing the practical application of accounting principles in a professional setting.
