My approach to tutoring is grounded in patience, creativity, and a commitment to making learning a positive experience. Whether working with young children or older students, my ability to connect with students and adapt methods ensures that each individual receives the support they need to thrive.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring educational innovations, volunteering in the community, and spending time with family and pets. Dedication to education and well-being allows me to be a valued mentor and tutor, dedicated to helping students succeed both academically and personally.

Experience: I have all required DCF teaching credentials, previously worked as registered behavior therapist, an EMT, and 4 years of pediatric psychiatry experience including developmental disabilities and physical disabilities. I was previously a nanny for a family of 3 children ages 4 months old, 2 years old, and 8 years old. I was responsible for homeschooling the oldest, and childcare for the other 2 in the mornings and at nights rotating through the week. In addition, I was also a preschool teacher for a few years in 2016.

I currently work in the emergency department and have ample medical and psychiatric experience. I am in graduate school for obtaining my Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in child development and trauma therapy. and I am looking to find part time work that allows me to foster and nurture creativity and learning with children. I pride myself on the clear vision of child development and effective creative methods to comfort children, build their self-esteem, inspire creativity, and motivate learning.
