I graduated from Sacred Heart-Griffin High School as valedictorian in 2015. In May 2019 I will graduate cum laude from Vanderbilt University, where I studied Political Science with minors in History and Islamic Studies. I am interested in American foreign policy, especially with the Middle East, and am pursuing a career in national security and policy research. I hope to return to school for a graduate degree a few years down the line.

In my experience tutoring, I`ve greatly enjoyed connecting with students and working to make any subject matter seem interesting. Tutoring, to me, isn`t just about rote memorization or beating the test; I also strive to bring students to a full understanding of concepts that is matched with self-confidence and desire to succeed.

Experience: During high school I worked for 9 months at a private tutoring company. I worked primarily with other high school students in numerous subjects, including chemistry, biology, mathematics (up to Calculus I), English, Spanish, history, and social sciences.
