I am a Harvard graduate with a BA in Social Studies. In July I will graduate from Stonecoast`s MFA program in creative writing. I`m a friendly sensitive and adaptable teacher with a background in the performing arts. My English language skills are excellent and I enjoy getting to know new students and targeting their needs. I live in Cambridge, MA and have lived in several big cities in the States including, Chicago, New York City and Houston, TX. I am also a published poet and prose-poet and served as Cambridge`s Poet Populist from 2013-2015.

Availability: I am available to tutor part-time, approximately 10 hours a week either during the day or evening.

Experience: I have a TEFL certificate from the Boston Language Institute where I taught ESL for three and a half years before the school closed in December of 2018. I have been teaching ESL in the Boston area for over 12 years and am currently also tutoring an advanced student in Taiwan via Skype. I have taught all levels of English but my strong suit is Intermediate and Advanced students.
