I am a young engineering contractor with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UCSB. I grew up in the bay area and have always been passionate about mathematics and academia.

Availability: Available most weekdays and highly flexible.

Experience: I scored near perfect scores on the Math SATs in high school and got straight A`s through my college math classes (up to multi-variable calculus, linear algebra, and partial and ordinary differential equations).

Throughout high school and college I always helped the people around me understand math. I started an after school math tutoring club in high school and helped my TA`s during their office hours in college. I have also individually tutored friends and family taking math classes at the high school and college level.

I find nothing more rewarding when I teach than helping people fundamentally understand a concept. That moment of realization when a student understands not just how to solve a problem, but why that method works, is what I find so exciting about math. I achieve this by actively engaging my students and asking them questions that help them break down each problem conceptually and clearly.
