I am a student at Diablo Valley College, on my way studying to attend UC Berkeley. I`m plan to get my Bachelors in English with a minor in Philosophy. I am a firm believer that knowledge is the most empowering thing you can give to someone, hence my strong desire for teaching. I live by Nietzsche`s quote, "One repays a teacher badly if one always remains nothing but a pupil." I started tutoring after my English Professor recommended me into my colleges tutoring program. Since then, I have enrolled in a Tutor Training course and have been working with several students. I specialize and have primarily worked with ESL students with very different backgrounds and needs. I am a firm believer in developing a positive growth mindset, thinking "I can`t yet" instead of "I can`t" when approaching difficult problems. This helps student`s unlock their full potential and is a crucial step in becoming independent learners. Outside of my academia, I live a very adventurous and outgoing lifestyle. You can find me tightrope walking between cliffs, running marathons and distances over that, rock climbing, backpacking, and if I`m not doing anything active I`ll be reading over my philosophy books or practicing meditation.

Availability: Will be available all day Friday-Sunday and after 4 on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s

Experience: I currently work as an English tutor at college. I specialize with ESL students, as well as enrolling in a tutor training class at school.
