Jennifer

I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and have lived in throughout southeast Michigan; Edinburgh, Scotland; New York City; Chicago, and Boston. I have owned several cats, and have often fed the neighborhood cats. I was ordained in the Presbyterian Church, USA, in recognition of my call to teach in 1995.

Experience: I was awarded my M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1976/1986, and have taught at Boston University and the University of Detroit Mercy for 30+ years, all told. I have published many articles/essays on film, love, the cycles of violence and major theologians of the 19th-20th centuries. I have preached all over southeast Michigan, and love writing and editing. I love to guide anyone in the process of writing essays, papers and theses. I do believe that writing is what I do best!
