I have always had a special interest in children for my entire life. I adopted 2 children, have 6 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren so far in my family. When I was young, I graduated with a Bachelor`s Degree in Elementary Education. I then taught for 15 years in all elementary grades K-5, of which 2 of those years were abroad in Chile, SA. where I adopted my 2 children. Later, after staying home with my children, I began tutoring and did that for 10+ years. I tutored mainly in reading, phonics, grammar, and math. But I also have tutored in Social Studies, US History, and Science, Art, and Music. I have had experience tutoring both in person and online. I love to see a student who is struggling overcome the challenges and achieve grade-level goals. I feel I have a good rapport and enjoy the students I have had, and wish to continue doing so.
