I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BS in chemistry in 2009. I received my PhD in physical chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2016. I enjoy helping students understand chemistry concepts, and I believe learning critical thinking and problem solving skills are some of the most important skills a student can learn.

Availability: I am available in the evenings and some afternoons during the week. I have some availability during the weekend, but it changes depending on the week

Experience: I tutored students in biology and chemistry while in college. I also held a job at my college as a group study session leader for chemistry. While in graduate school, I taught general chemistry and physical chemistry labs and mentored younger graduate students. Currently, I am a professor, and I teach general chemistry lecture and lab as well as advanced chemistry labs. I am responsible for preparing my own lectures, worksheets, exams, and other material. Outside of class, I also work with students one-on-one to help them better understand the material.
