I have been happily married for almost 27 years. We have 2 boys ages 25 and 20. I received my Master’s in Education in 2016. I am certified EC - 6th grade, ESL. I have taught with Dallas ISD, a charter school and Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD.

Experience: I taught w Dallas IS from 2017 - 2022. I was a pre-k teacher with Pre-k partnership. We worked in a Head Start classroom. Responsible for lesson plans, learning centers, parent conferences. It was a great place to start; after four years I was quite ready to have my own classroom. Next, I went to Universal Academy in Coppell for 2 years. I taught pre-k there, averaging 27 students in my class w no aide. In the Fall of 2023 I was hired by Carrollton Farmers Branch ISD. Still as a pre-k teacher. I loved it. At the end of August of 23, I fell and broke my hip and missed the rest of the school year. Beginning of 2024-2025 school year, I was reassigned to a 3rd grade class at another school. I have found that due to my leg not healing properly after my fall, I cannot keep up w the demands of being in a classroom daily for 10 hours. Now, I would like to tutor.
