Hi! My name is Michelle and I am currently a graduate chemistry student at UC Berkeley. I received my bachelor`s and master`s cum laude from UCLA in chemistry and am passionate about helping others succeed in the sciences. I am offering my tutoring services in the areas of chemistry, math, and physics for all levels. Please don`t hesitate to reach out if you are interested or have any questions!

Experience: I previously worked at Kumon, where I tutored K-12 students in math and English subjects. I also worked as a private tutor for about four years, handling multiple students at a time. I offered my services for all STEM subjects, including everything from homework help to SAT/AP test prep. For these students, I offered personalized one on one sessions as well as lesson plans based on initial and continuous assessments of where my students were at with their knowledge. I currently work as a TA at UC Berkeley, managing two classes of an undergraduate organic chemistry lab. Here, I prepare weekly lectures and discussions to support student understanding and safety during the lab as well as hold 2 office hours a week to further facilitate student learning. I work with a team of TAs and the professor to create a research-based pedagogical method to provide the best education possible.
