I have been in education for over 30 years. I started as a classroom teacher and then studied for my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. Then I transitioned to combine my two loves and became an educational therapist. I have been in private practice as a Board Certified Educational Therapist for over 20 years. I specialize in working with most learning disabilities including ADHD, Autism, Executive Function, Reading comprehension, essay writing and phonics.I have been trained in the Wilson Phonics program and Lindamood Bell’s Visualizing and Verbalizing as well as Seeing Stars. Working as a utor or as an educational therapist has been the greatest experience of my life.

Experience: LAUSD classroom teacher English and Drama. I managed the auditorium and managed its budget and taught stagecraft.
I have worked at many private schools in Los Angeles including Westmark for those students with language based learning differences. I then transitioned to Educational Therapy in private practice. I am also currently working for a tutoring company working with homeschool students.
