My approach to tutoring is multifaceted, and I believe in meeting students where they are, developing unique, student-catered approaches to each lesson. In my space, students are able to develop their confidence and foster an intuition for the subject matter that far beats "just being told what to do". Many times in the classroom it can be frightening to ask questions or admit you do not understand. However, with me, I can guarantee you curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are learning points, and questions can be asked freely without judgment, as they provide huge potential for learning and growth. Experience: I have about a decade`s worth of tutoring experience in subjects of English, Writing, Composition, Math, and Science. Currently I am an independent tutor teaching English and Math to middle, high school, and college students.

From 2020-2021, I worked as Senior Program Coordinator at the Mandela Residents Cooperative Association, where I developed a tutoring and enrichment program for hundreds of underprivileged elementary to high school students during the lockdowns. I also tutored students one-on-one and in groups there. From 2018 - 2020, I was appointed as tutor by the Deans at the prestigious Caltech, where I assisted university students in both English and STEM-oriented coursework. From 2014 - 2016, I was a volunteer tutor at The Steppingstone Academy, a nonprofit college preparation program, where I taught middle through high school students in subjects such as English, Writing, Math, Chemistry, and Engineering.
