My name is FELIX XAVIER BARBOZA VELASQUEZ, and I possess both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Music from the University of Miami; a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University; and a PhD in Arts, obtained at the Superior Institute of Fine Arts (Instituto Superior de Arte) in Havana, Cuba. I currently reside in the city of Garland, Texas, USA.

I have more than 20 years of experience in the field of Education in various parts of the world, which is why I am interested in collaborating with such a prestigious educational institution as yours. I have always considered the opportunity to guide and mentor young individuals to be an integral and complimentary part of a student’s education. Above all, education is very passionate to me because of my commitment toward young individuals and connecting with them. I want to be able to have the opportunity to impact their lives.
