I have been a middle school teacher and substitute for high school math classes. I have a Master`s degree in Biology, and a minor in math. My tutoring method is to identify areas where a student is having difficulty, then breaking the problem down into more understandable pieces as a way solve the problem. Sometimes this also involves using new approaches to the problem that may be more easily grasped.

Availability: Anytime during the summer months, or after school and on weekends during the school year.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: Taught middle school classes in Math and English, as well as high school math. Helped one student in particular to raise his math grade, which allowed him for the first time in his life to make the honor role.
