Hi there! I`m Maggie, and I`m thrilled to share my passion for math with young learners in the Baton Rouge area. With a background in math education, I`m eager to make math engaging and accessible for students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

My journey with math began early on, and it`s a subject that has always fascinated me. I believe that every child has the potential to excel in math, and I`m dedicated to helping them unlock that potential through personalized tutoring sessions tailored to their unique learning styles and needs.

Beyond just numbers and equations, I love working with kids. Their curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm never fail to inspire me. Experience: Greetings! I`m Maggie, and I`m excited to bring my educational background and teaching experience to support students in K-8 math.

Having graduated from LSU with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in Applied Statistics, Leadership Development, and Sociology, I`ve developed a well-rounded approach to education.

My passion for teaching extends beyond traditional classroom settings. With daycare experience teaching 1-year-olds and substitute teaching experience with grades pre-K through 8th grade, I`ve honed my ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds. Additionally, my year of teaching 7th-grade math has provided me with firsthand insight into the challenges students face in mastering mathematical concepts.

Currently, I`m on the path to further enhance my teaching skills by pursuing a graduate program where I will obtain my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. I`m also eagerly awaiting my Level 1 Teaching Certification, which will further solidify my commitment to providing quality education to young learners.

As a tutor, I strive to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and grow academically. I believe in tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student, fostering a love for math that extends beyond the classroom.
