My approach: Christina truly believes that anyone can sing! Every voice is unique, so she tailors each lesson using vocal science and an evidence-based approach to support each student’s style and goals. Whether they’re rigorously preparing for a role onstage or simply singing for joy, she’s passionate about helping every student unlock their voice and build the confidence to shine. There is no mandatory curriculum- I`m here to help you reach your specific goals or let loose and express yourself by unlocking your inner voice!

Experience: Christina Pappa is a classically trained mezzo-soprano with over a decade of experience across a wide range of vocal styles, including musical theater, jazz, R&B, pop, rock, and opera. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education with K–12 Vocal and General Certification from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2019 where she also received the Ida and Fanny Drubeck Vocal Award.

Christina has been teaching voice since 2018 to students of all ages and abilities from beginner to advanced. She spent four years teaching elementary music and directing high school musicals and plays in Illinois and Iowa before fully dedicating herself to private voice lessons. She has also launched two successful musical theater camps—Star Power and Cabaret for elementary and high school students. During this time she has mentored over 100 students, helping them grow as musicians while sparking their creativity and confidence.

Now back in her hometown, Christina is thrilled to share her love of music and teaching with students in the western suburbs of Chicago.
