I am a retired high school English teacher with thirty years of experience. I currently work part-time as an online ESL tutor for a company in China. I possess a Master Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in the Humanities. Also, I have earned four national honors including: National Board Certified Teacher (2003, 2013 - I was the first teacher from the Springfield School District to earn this exceptional certification.), National Endowment of the Humanities: King Lear and the Creative Act Fellowshi19 1992, and Council for Basic Education Fellowship 1994. In addition, I received the Mike Kohr Green and Gold Award for my dedication to the students of Parkview High School. (This was the last school where I taught.)

Availability: Monday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Experience: I am a retired English teacher with thirty years of experience. I have taught English I, II, II Honors, III, IV, grammar and compositon, British Literature, World Literature, word study, newspaper, and biographies. In addition, I have taught with the TRIO program at Missouri State University.
