I have a bachelors degree in Bioinformatics from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Cell Biology From Duke University. I have had a lifelong passion for Biology and Chemistry since childhood and would love to try to instill that same passion on someone else.

Experience: I have take biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus courses at the University level (with many more detailed classes in those subjects). I have taken specialized biology courses at the graduate level. I was involved in Medicinal Chemistry research for a year. I worked in a neurobiology lab for two years throughout college where I was a published author and studied the effects of secondhand smoke on the developing brain. I`m currently rotating through various labs at Duke University as part of my PhD education, in topics such as cell biology, neurobiology and pharmacology.
