My name is Roberta Lynn and I was born on November 28, 1970 in Louisville, Ky. I have a 20 year old son and I really enjoy spending time with my family and close friends.
I enjoy having fun and living life to its fullest. Although I may be a professional there are so many other parts of my me and my personality (in fact, one can say that I can be adven-turous). I enjoy the simple things in life like going to the movies/concerts/plays, going out to eat, taking walks, amusement parks, playing cards and board games, playing Wii for fun and exercise (just to name a few).

Availability: My availability will have to be in the evening time during the week (Mon-Fri) and either morning and afternoon during the weekend.
At this present moment since we are still in school, right now this schedule allows me to have more flexibility during the weekend as far as the time I can tutor.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: First and foremost I would like to express that I have a great passion for and love working with the youth as well as doing and teaching math.
As far as my education and experience I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Kentucky State University in May 1992.
Later in life I decided to become a teacher and I went back to school and in May 2004 I earned my Masters in Education from Spalding University.
I took the Praxis test for math and PLT (principles for learning and teaching) which certified and allowed me to be able to teach Mathematics for grades 5 through 9.
Thus, I have been employed with Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) and teaching students since August 2001
In my teaching career I have been at a total of 3 schools. I started off teaching middle school students at Kennedy Metro Middle School and was there for 5 years. Afterwards, I transferred and went to Iroquois High School and taught mainly 9th graders Algebra I. I was at Iroquois for 5 years as well. And now I am presently working at Liberty High School where I teach any grade level (9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th) Pre-Algebra and Algebra I.
Thus, I have been here at Liberty for a total of 7 years now.
