Born and raised in the Czech Republic, I embarked on a new chapter in 1990 when I moved to the United States to pursue higher education. Initially, my journey was driven by academic aspirations, but along the way, I discovered a profound passion for teaching. The experience of engaging with diverse learning environments and witnessing the transformative power of education inspired me to pursue a career in teaching.

Determined to make a difference, I earned my teaching certificate, equipping myself with the skills and knowledge necessary to guide and inspire young minds. Teaching quickly became more than just a profession; it became a calling. The joy of helping students discover their potential and fostering a love for learning became the driving force behind my career.

Over the years, I have dedicated myself to creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every student feels valued and empowered. My journey in education has been enriched by the experiences of raising two wonderful children, who have further deepened my understanding of the needs and challenges that young learners face.

Today, I call Franklin Lakes home, where I continue to balance the roles of a dedicated educator and a parent. My journey from the Czech Republic to the United States has been one of growth, discovery, and a deepening commitment to the field of education. Every day, I strive to make a positive impact on my students` lives, guiding them not just in academics but also in becoming thoughtful, curious, and compassionate individuals.

Experience: 13 years of tutoring experience at JEI Learning Center (1998-2011), 16 years of tutoring and teaching foreign languages (2002-2018), 10 years of substitute teaching and teaching at public schools, currently a 2nd grade teacher, experience running a language school and a daycare (Director of Operations and Executive Director). Experienced predominantly teaching and tutoring children K-5.
