Hi! My name is Duc. I`ve been tutoring and teaching chemistry for over four years helping both high school and college students engage with and master chemistry concepts. I graduated with a Masters in Chemistry from Georgia Tech. I have a Bachelor`s degree in Chemistry with a minor in STEM Teaching and an Initial Teaching License for high school chemistry in Massachusetts. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and was awarded the American Institute of Chemists` Student Award in 2023 along with the Undergraduate Award in Physical Chemistry from the American Chemical Society. I conducted undergraduate research involving shape controlled synthesis of nanoparticles for electrocatalysis. I completed a teaching practicum at Andover High School using self-regulatory learning techniques as intervention strategies to increase student confidence and proficiency in meeting course desired outcomes.

Experience: I started private chemistry tutoring in 2019 and, since then, was a teaching assistant and the University of Massachusetts in Lowell for 2 years before graduating with a minor in STEM Teaching. I spent a semester as a full time student teaching candidate before being a substitute teacher for Andover High School and a long-term substitute for one month at The Brooks School. Since then, I was a graduate teaching assistant at Georgia Tech before graduating in December of 2025.
