I`ve been peer tutoring since I was a high school in 2007 and love all aspects of teaching. I love explaining material and seeing my students click in their head and understand everything! I tutored all throughout college as a student at UC Berkeley and grad student at University of Hawaii at Manoa. I joined a tutoring center while in Hawaii and taught biology and oceanography as a graduate student teaching assistant. After receiving my masters in Marine Biology, I taught high school math during summer 2016 at UC Davis during their summer Upward Bound Trio program for underprivileged students and then started teaching biology and marine biology as an adjunct faculty at Saddleback College and Mt San Antonio College in Southern California from Fall 2016 - Summer 2019. Currently I am in graduate school at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, volunteer tutoring at the student center, and expecting to receive my PhD in Marine Biology in December 2024.
