Benjamin

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with bachelor`s degrees in Biology and Spanish and a minor in Chemistry in May 2019. I will begin as a doctoral student in Integrated Life Sciences at the University of Georgia in August 2019. My principal scientific interests are infectious diseases, cellular and molecular biology, and genetics.

Availability: I am available every day from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm Eastern Standard Time through August 13.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I led study sessions in many of my classes at UNT, including Medical Bacteriology, Parasitology, Animal Physiology, Genetics, Organic Chemistry, and several advanced Spanish courses. My study groups grew very large because I was recommended to other students by my peers. Students commented that they saw their exam scores improve dramatically after joining my study groups. I also have real-world biology experience as an undergraduate researcher, for which I have earned several awards. In June 2016, I studied abroad in Costa Rica, helping me strengthen my conversational Spanish skills.
