Ujalashah

I received my Bachelors from Rice University in 2015 and am currently pursuing a Masters in Biological Science/Pre-Health at the University of Houston__Clear Lake. In undergrad, I was chosen (based on my academic performance) to serve as a tutor for my residential college in the fields of General Chemistry, Differential Equations, and Elementary/Intermediate Spanish.

This fall I will be matriculating to Texas Tech__El Paso medical school.

Availability: Flexible based on student need

Experience: I have experience tutoring students of a variety of ages and backgrounds. While my own career goals are in health/science, I have been fortunate to successfully tutor others in math, reading/writing, and Spanish.

In high school, I tutored a refugee family of five sibling (ages 11 to 19 at the time) and provided them with assistance in their school subjects (math, science, English, etc.). After five years, each of them went from having a limited understanding of English to becoming Honor Roll students.
