I am currently a bioengineering Master`s student in UCSD, which is ranked 2nd in the nation for bioengineering. I graduated from UCLA in 2014 also for bioengineering. I love to teach and am very goal-oriented and hope to confer some of this energy onto my students. I have taken a wide variety of different biology classes as well as physiology classes throughout high school, undergrad, and graduate school that should prepare me well for any biology-related tutoring situation.

Availability: My availability is mostly in the evenings and in the afternoons/evenings on weekends.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: I have worked with kids my entire life. I first started off as a volunteer for an organization called Friends Hand in Hand which worked with autistic children to improve their social skills. I then went on to work at Camp Galileo starting off as a summer intern and eventually working my way up to be a lead instructor where I was in charge of around 15 children (age ranging from 1st-5th grade). In my undergraduate career, I volunteered for a program called Bioengineering Big Buddies where we would go to low-income areas and do science projects with middle school children. Other than that, I`ve always been a helper for my peers all throughout my schooling. I`ve helped numerous classmates pass their classes and have always been a teacher of sorts to my peers.
