I am in favor of the Socratic method of teaching where the student is led to the answer via my questions rather than directly giving the answer to him/her.

Experience: I am currently working at Southern University as an Lab Tech/Lab Instructor/Researcher in the Mechanical Engineering Department. I started as a PostDoctoral Researcher at LSU in 1997 . I have been in the field of education for the last 25 years (taught Physics courses as a graduate assistant at University of Maryland) .
